MOSES ORUAZE DICKSON

Moses Oruaze Dickson is a Nigerian-born Lawyer, entrepreneur, publisher, and philanthropist. He is the Managing Solicitor, Triax Solicitors, and also chairman of the Boards of many companies.
 
He is also the founder / President of Goldcoast developmental Foundation.

Born in Toru-Orua, in Sagbama Loca Government in Bayelsa State Nigeria, in 1985. He is an Ijaw by birth from Bayelsa State. He attended Police Children’s school in Port Harcourt and later Bereton College.
He has a first degree in Law from Niger Delta University. He is an alumnus of the Nigerian Law School, Harvard Division of Continuing Education, London School of Economics And Political Science, University of Bedfordshire, Salford Business School, City University all in the United Kingdom and is also currently doing his PhD in Law at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
Moses Dickson is married with children. He has seven siblings, one of which is His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, the immediate past Governor of Bayelsa State (2012- 2020).


He began his career earlier as an informal classroom teacher immediately after his O’Level at Bright Future Int’l Group of Schools, Port Harcourt, after which he commenced his law degree at the Niger Delta University.
 
Shortly after his first bachelors degree, he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja wherein he was called to the Nigerian Bar on February 14th 2012- a day he holds dearly as it not only was a festive Global St. Valentine’s day but also that his older brother His Excellency Senator Seriake Dickson was sworn in as Governor of Bayelsa State.
 
He was appointed into public service as a Senior Special Assistant on special duties to the Bayelsa State Governor, a position he later resigned to further his educational pursuits.
 
Prior to this, he also worked briefly with Kemeasuode Wodu & Associates as an intern. In 2012, in order to support the needs of victims of the ravaging flood disaster, he founded the GoldCoast Developmental Foundation, an NGO he named after his beloved but now late mother Goldcoast Dickson. The NGO was later formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2013.
 
The NGO is dedicated to touching lives through three program areas of health, education and strategic youths development/ empowerment empowering. A year after, Moses founded his first company Solalina Investment Limited which later grew to become Solalina Investment Group of Companies Limited, a frontier organization in building partnerships for the purposes creating wealth and bettering humanity through creation of opportunities and transforming lives. That NGO has saved and touched countless lives through its impactful projects with many state and national awards. Moses also volunteers as a Special Marshal with the Federal Road Safety Corps of Nigeria to control road traffic and educate road users.
 
He is also the progenitor of Triax Solicitors, a niche expertise law firm based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
 
In his legal practice, he has handled many briefs including major debt recoveries for major financial institutions such as First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and others and also the public sector one of which Bayelsa State Board of Internal Revenue. His core area of specialty is Commercial law with a major on finance.
 
He is a co-founder of Some startups ideation companies that turns Ideas into products and he consults for many organizations including private and public sectors.
 
He has many academic qualifications and publications in reputable international journals.


Gold Coast Development Foundation is a Non - Governmental Organization named after his beloved but now late mother Goldcoast Dickson. It was established in 2012 in order to support the needs of victims of the ravaging flood disaster and formally registered under the relevant Laws of Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2013 with its base in Bayelsa State.
The NGO is dedicated to touching lives through three program areas of health, education and strategic youths development/ empowerment empowering. The NGO has saved and touched countless lives through its impactful projects with many state and national awards.
The foundation has a Mission to continuously render selfless service and improve the general well-being of the needy and vulnerable through collective participation.
The foundation has earned awards jointly by the Red Cross, Bayelsa State Government, Nigerian Air Force and many more for its impacts.
The foundation is also the CSR partner to all his Companies and works with May donors, volunteers and partners.
